    Wiring Method for JKW1B Series Reactive Power Automatic Compensation Controller 

    Voltage input
    The controller has an automatic phase sequence judgment function, but the input voltage should be as consistent as possible with the input current, that is, the phase number and phase sequence must be consistent. At this time, either the BC line voltage or the A phase voltage can be used as a signal; the wiring method should be adjusted accordingly.

    Current input

    The current is taken from the A line current. The standard rated input current is 5A. When it is greater than 5A, an external current transformer (CT) is required.
    Although the controller has an automatic phase sequence judgment function, the inputs should have the same nature in terms of phase and phase sequence number.
    If other instruments are connected to the CT, the wiring should be connected in series.
    Before removing the current input wiring of the product, please disconnect the primary circuit of the CT or short-circuit the secondary circuit.

    CT Connection

    In order to facilitate disassembly and assembly, terminal blocks should be used instead of direct connection to CT.

    Communication wiring

    The network power meter is equipped with an asynchronous half-duplex RS485 communication interface for data transmission on a communication line that follows the MODBUS-RTU protocol. A maximum of 128 network power meters can be connected to one line at the same time, and each network power meter has its communication address (Addr) set.
    It is recommended to use shielded twisted pair cables for communication connection, with a wire diameter of not less than 0.5 mm. The common terminal can be omitted, or if the common terminal is grounded, a "single-ended single-point grounding" system must be used. Connect a terminal matching resistor of 120 Ω to 1 kΩ between the A and B terminals of the terminal instrument. When wiring, the communication line should be kept away from high-current cables or other strong electromagnetic field environments.
    In order to protect the safety of the communication interface and the controller itself, the switch input interface and temperature interface must be isolated from other external active devices, because RS485 is not isolated from these interfaces.

    Number of main switch outputs
    Active output is the switching control of compensation capacitors, which is used to synchronize different customer instructions, and the number of channels is 6, 8, 10 or 12. Capacitor switching modes include first-in-first-out switching, sequential switching, manual switching, and communication switching.

    This mode is called sequential switching and is suitable for situations where different groups of compensation capacitors have different capacities. Each group of compensation capacitors must be wired in descending order of capacity. The capacitor with the largest capacity should be connected to K1, and the capacitor with the smallest capacity should be connected to K2.
    FIFO switching is applicable to compensation capacitor groups of the same capacity. In this case, the FIFO method can ensure that the operating time loss of each group of capacitors is equal.
    Mainly used in the debugging stage, manual switching is used to evaluate the wiring and compensation effects. In the measurement display mode, the capacitance value can be input and output by the left and right keys.
    Communication switching is to remotely control the capacitor through the instructions issued by the controller. At this time, the controller abandons the control function but retains the protection part. Other devices write relevant content into the controller through communication to realize the switching of the capacitor.
