The BYM6 Series operates as a critical safeguard in high-voltage AC 1140V photovoltaic systems, designed to interrupt fault currents during overloads, short circuits, or abnormal voltage conditions. Its core functionality revolves around:
Thermal-Magnetic Trip Mechanism:Thermal Protection,A bimetal strip responds to prolonged overcurrents (e.g., caused by equipment overload or insulation degradation). As temperatures rise, the strip bends, triggering a mechanical release to disconnect the circuit.
Magnetic Protection: A solenoid coil detects sudden current spikes (short circuits). When the current exceeds the predefined threshold (e.g., 10x the rated current), the magnetic force instantly trips the breaker, isolating the fault within milliseconds to prevent equipment damage or fire hazards.
