Working Principle of BYB1 - 63 High Breaking Capacity Miniature Circuit Breaker
Overload protection: In the event of a sustained overcurrent condition (e.g. exceeding the rated current), the thermal release activates. The bimetallic strip bends due to the heat, triggering a mechanical trip that opens the circuit. This prevents damage due to prolonged overcurrent.
