This modular compensation unit integrates four core components:
CPU Measurement & Control Module:
- Continuously monitors grid parameters (voltage, current, power factor) and dynamically adjusts compensation via advanced algorithms, ensuring real-time power factor correction and harmonic suppression (up to 50th order).
Capacitor Switching Composite Switch:
- Utilizes thyristor-based switching technology for instantaneous, arc-free capacitor bank engagement, achieving ≤20ms response time and extending switch lifespan to 100,000+ operations.
Self-Healing Power Capacitor (Δ/Y Configurable):
- Features metalized polypropylene film with self-repairing capability, automatically isolating defects to prevent failures. Supports flexible Δ+Δ or Δ+Y configurations for diverse load demands.

Components of Power Capacitors
Intelligent Power capacitor is one of the electronic devices used to store electric energy in an electric field. It is typically associated with improved system efficiency as well as the power factor of electrical systems. The major power capacitor components include:
Capacitor element
This is the basic component of the power capacitor. The capacitor is typically made out of metalized film or ceramic dielectric material and is responsible for storing the electrical energy.
Dielectric
This is the material used to separate two conductive plates between each of them. This provides the insulating barrier. The choice of dielectric is also most critical because it affects the performance and life of the capacitor.
Conductive plates

Terminal connections

Enclosure
