Product Introduction
The energy-capable reactive power compensation capacitor is a new generation of reactive power compensation device specially designed for 0.4 kV low-voltage power grids. Through highly integrated design, it integrates a CPU measurement and control unit, a non-inrush current switching device, multiple protection devices, and two (Δ-type) or one (Y-type) low-voltage self-healing power capacitors into an independent and complete intelligent compensation unit. This integrated design not only simplifies the complex structure of traditional reactive power compensation devices but also completely replaces the automatic reactive power compensation system assembled from various dispersed components such as intelligent reactive power controllers, fuses (or miniature circuit breakers), thyristor composite switches (or contactors), thermal relays, and indicator lights.

1. Over-zero Switching: It employs an intelligent circuit that achieves equal-voltage input and zero-current disconnection. In particular, there is no inrush current impact nor operating overvoltage, and no arc reignition occurs during switching. This greatly enhances the equipment's tolerance against voltage and current shocks, with very low power consumption, thus reducing the energy consumption of conventional capacitor cabinets by about 80%.
2. Phase-wise Compensation: It realizes single-phase separate compensation to tackle cases of three-phase load imbalances. It compensates the most reactive phase, thus achieving the best compensation effect.

5. Intelligent Networking: A network is automatically formed when multiple intelligent power capacitors are networked. The one with the smallest address code acts as master, while the rest acts as slaves forming a low-voltage reactive power automatic control system. If an individual slave fails, it will automatically withdraw without influencing other slaves. If the host fails, it will withdraw as well and a new host will evolve from among the remaining slaves to form a new system. Capacitors with the same capacity are switched on and off in a cyclic manner while capacitors with different capacities are switched on and off in line with the right compensation principle. It can also connect with a background computer for centralized distribution management via the 485 communication interface.
6. High Reliability: The controller is removed, and decentralized control is adopted: this removing any chance of total system failure due to controller malfunction. In turn, intelligent over-zero switching orchestrates zero inrush current impact, zero operating overvoltage, and zero arc reignition during capacitor switching.
